NSB Online Information for Businesses
Most business will have access to all of their Newtown Savings Bank deposit and loan accounts. However, certain transactions may not be available for all of your accounts. Below are just some of the features of NSB Online:.
- Obtain current account balances
- View images of your checks
- Check deposits made to your account
- Review ATM and Visa Check Card purchases
- Check to be sure automatic payments have been made
- Review your account history
- Obtain statement transaction detail on your accounts
- Print recent statements
- Download transactions to Microsoft Money, Quicken, Quickbooks, or to a .txt or .csv file.
- Obtain interest rate information
- Transfer funds between selected accounts
- Set up recurring transfers between your eligible accounts
- Transfer funds from your deposit accounts to make payments to your loan accounts
- Send stop payment instructions for checks drawn on your checking account(s)
- Send E-mails to Newtown Savings Bank
The basic NSB Online Banking features list above are free to most businesses. We also offer Plus Services which allows you to:
- Initiate wires online,
- Direct Deposit payroll,
- Transact ACH Receivables and Payments, as well as,
- Authorize multiple user access levels.

Funds transfers occur either on the date of entry, on the following business day or on a specified date entered, depending on when you transmit the transfer instructions. Newtown Savings Bank's business days are Monday through Friday, except on established Bank holidays when we are closed. Funds transfers requested on non-business days will be posted on the next business day. If a fund transfer is created after 6pm, the funds transfer activity report will appear in your records the next business day.
Payments will be applied based on the following schedule:
- Business Loans paid within 10 days prior to the due date -> Applied to the next payment due (interest and
principal.)
- Business Loans paid more than10 days prior to the due date -> Applied to principal only. Next payment will
remain due on the due date.
- Personal Loans paid within 15 days prior to the due date -> Applied to the next payment due (interest and
principal.)
- Personal Loans paid more than 15 days prior to the due date -> Applied to principal only. Next payment will
remain due on the due date.
